Our History

Tracing our journey of transformation and faith-driven service.

Our Journey Through The Years

1961 – Establishment

Anglican Development Services–Central Rift (ADS-CR) was established under the Anglican Church of Kenya as Christian Community Services (CCS), focusing on improving livelihoods in local communities.

Over The Years – Evolution

Over time, CCS evolved into the Nakuru Region Inter-Diocesan Christian Community Services (NRIDCCS), expanding its service to several Anglican dioceses in the Central Rift region.

2011 – Unification & Rebranding

To strengthen unity and identity, all CCS structures were consolidated under the common name Anglican Development Services (ADS), creating a shared identity and enhancing collaboration.

Today

Today, ADS–Central Rift operates in five counties—Nakuru, Baringo, Samburu, Laikipia, and Nyandarua—continuing to restore dignity and promote sustainable development through community-led initiatives.
